I am working on a new series of film photographs of my family at a Cottage we rent every long weekend throughout the summer. Above is a test photo I took of my three year old son using a DSLR, the actual photos are large format film. My scanner is non existant so I thought I would add a photo from the test.

New fasination with Street Poles

I took the afternoon off and wandered the city as I often do. A bird drew my eye to the sky and my eyes fixed on this old street lamp pole surrounded by deep grey clouds. The next 4 hours of my life were dedicated to the seldom appreciated, rarely looked at Street Poles, Lamps, Hydro Line Structures.

When I got home and uploaded the 21 photos, I noticed that I had an unwelcome piece of lint that creeped between my lens and uv filter. He made his debut appearance on the bottom left corner of every photo. These are the unedited photos so I am sure you will find flaws, I also decided to let the lint lay.

It's a Boy !

My apologizes for the lack of updates, its been a busy month. I got married and had a wonderful healthy baby boy, Avery Charles Hughes. I will start updating my website and blog regularly (not sure if anyone even reads this).
